E-Commerce Merchandising Executive​

We are looking for an experienced E-Commerce & Merchandising Executive to support an exciting digital transformation process. The selected candidate will work cross-functionally to drive online business results and take ownership of the end-to-end e-commerce process.

Responsibilities

  • Take full control of e-commerce stock inventory and an assortment
  • Oversee order management and processing of the same
  • Assist in pricing strategies and development of promotional tactics
  • Coordinate between warehousing, finance, buying and logistics to deploy eCommerce
  • Regular audits online product availability to ensure appropriate representation
  • Ensure assortment is commercial, credible and competitive
  • Plan product ranges and stock plans with buyers
  • Forecast and optimise sales volume and profitability of product areas
  • Plan budgets and sales forecasts and figures for new ranges
  • Control stock levels based on forecasts for the season
  • Analyse every aspect of performance (bestselling price points, colours or styles) and ensuring that they reach their full potential
  • Record, monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities and action plans
  • Monitor slow-movers and identify an effective course of action
  • Gather customer insights and develop appropriate action plans
  • Analyse historical data to report on the current season’s lines
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on digital merchandise optimisation and sorting
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly and other periodical KPI analysis reports

Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or Tech
  • Sound knowledge of Italian both written and spoken
  • Analytical mind, able to make data-driven decisions with ease
  • Highly proficient in Powerpoint and Excel (pivot tables, data validation, multi-criteria lookups)
  • Confident, critical thinker, and able to make decisions
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and formulate structured work processes
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Team player, capable of building and maintaining effective working relationships
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand customer
  • Experience in retail is a plus, but a passion for fashion is a must
  • Experience working in NAV17 preferred
