The Retail Sales Assistant is responsible to assist in the preparation of orders for our corporate clients and to assist walk in customers, taking measurements and providing instructions for alterations to our factory team.

He/she will be expected to sell and promote that Company’s products and assist customers with their requirements, answering of calls, collecting payments and performing end of day reconciliation and ensure delivery notes are signed.

The selected candidate will also be expected to take part in stock takes, stock replenishment, answering customer queries by phone, email or on social media and to promote BTI uniforms to our customers.

The Requirements

The selected candidate must be able to read, write and communicate in Maltese and English, have a flair for sales and previous experience in retail clothing or uniforms shop.

He/She must have knowledge of different types of garments and materials, fitting of clothing, recommending and taking measurements for alterations to fit the customers’ requirements. The ideal candidate must have a valid driving license, must know how to use the POS system and perform basic data inputting.

Previous experience in a textile manufacturing environment would be ideal, however on the job training will be provided.
