Finance Executive
As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking to recruit a Finance Executive to join
our company’s accounting team on a full-time basis.
THE POSITION
We are currently seeking a Finance Executive to join our team on a full-time basis.
Based on-site, this role is central to overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities that directly support strategic business decisions.
The ideal candidate will bring both a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to drive financial efficiency across multiple business units, particularly within retail and e-commerce operations.

Our Retail Division distributes in the Maltese market Hugo Boss, Twinset, and Samsonite, as part of the premium and lifestyle segment, while representing the major fashion luxury brands such as Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Zegna, Fendi, Moncler, Stella McCartney, Valentino, Tom Ford, and Jimmy Choo.
The retail uniformity business operates through the brands BTI Uniforms and Eagle Knitwear, providing uniforms and workwear to many corporate clients and schools on the island.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management & Reporting
Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing processes.
Post supplier and customer invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable.
Perform debtor and related parties reconciliations to ensure clean and transparent records.
Maintain a comprehensive fixed assets register and calculate accurate depreciation values.
Perform account reconciliations to validate financial accuracy and compliance.
Accounts Management & Compliance
Guarantee adherence to local financial regulations, tax laws, and internal governance protocols.
Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and banking institutions.
Prepare and conduct bank reconciliations.
Upload payments and perform creditors’ reconciliations.
Manage petty cash accounts responsibly and efficiently.
Cash Flow & Risk Management
Monitor and manage company cash flow to ensure continuous operational functionality.
Identify financial risks and recommend proactive mitigation strategies.
Support investment decisions and enhance working capital performance.
E-Commerce & Retail Finance
Handle financial workflows related to online transactions, gateways, and refund processing.
Collaborate with supply chain teams to align financial and inventory objectives.
Analyze e-commerce profitability and propose initiatives to optimize margins.
Collaboration & Strategic Support
Partner with senior leadership to define and execute robust financial strategies.
Deliver insights on business performance to support growth initiatives and expansion plans.
Support pricing strategies and promotional campaigns using sound financial data.
REQUIREMENTS
Location:
Malta
Required Knowledge:
- Experience: 3+ years experience in a finance role, ideally within retail or e-commerce sectors.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. (CPA, ACCA in early stages, or CFA preferred).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on complex financial data.
Experience with financial software systems such as Shireburn and Navation.
Solid understanding of local tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
