Warehouse Supervisor

As part of our strategy for growth, we are currently seeking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Operations team on a full-time basis.

THE POSITION

As Retail Warehouse Supervisor, you will report to the Warehouse Team Leader. You will act as point of reference for the warehouse team in the retail section by coordinating deliveries and stock-keeping tasks while ensuring a fast and smooth workflow.


Our Retail Division represents the major luxury fashion and luggage brands including Hugo Boss, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Zegna, Fendi, Moncler, Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney, Valentino, Tom Ford, Jimmy Choo, and Samsonite.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and motivate warehouse personnel, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team members perform at their best.

 

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Implement and improve systems for tracking, receiving, and issuing materials.

 

Operational Efficiency:

  • Streamline warehouse operations to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and optimize workflows, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.

 

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to uphold product standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any discrepancies.

 

Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.

 

Reporting:

  • Generate and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics.
  • Provide regular updates to management on key performance indicators.

 

Communication:

  • Facilitate effective communication within the warehouse team and collaborate with other departments to meet overall company goals.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by team members.

 

Equipment Maintenance:

  • Coordinate maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment.
  • Ensure that all machinery is in good working order to support smooth operations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices.

Familiarity with inventory management software.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to creating a safe work environment.
